ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP:

• Those who wish to serve their community and engage in active fire suppression and rescue activities

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must complete or have completed Essentials of Firefighting OR Module 1 and Module 2 

• Must successfully complete a 6 month probationary period with Fairview VFD

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP:

• Those who wish to serve their community and are not yet 18 years old, but wish to join and begin their fire service career

• Must be 16-17 years old 

• Must have permission from parent or guardian

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:

• Those who wish to serve their community, but do not wish to participate in active fire suppression or rescue activities

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must successfully complete a 6 month probationary period with the Fairview VFD

• Associate members assist with fundraising, work details, and various other department activities
